The Neshobe Sportsman Club, Inc. is an organization of people who want to strengthen family values, promote hunting, fishing, conservation and the great outdoors.

*Each year we hold an Annual Kids Fishing Derby. We have had as many as 500 children plus parents and friends attend. They learn about fishing, winning, losing, and enjoying a day in the great outdoors. Free lunch is provided with every registration.

*We hold annual Youth Hunting Celebrations for Youth Turkey Hunting Weekend and Youth Deer Hunting Weekend.  Reporting and Celebrations are held at the club.  Numerous lifetime hunting licenses and other prizes are awarded to registered youth hunters.

*We accept applications each spring for the Arnold Magoon Conservation Scholarship which was created by the Neshobe Sportsman Club in 1979. Arnold Magoon was a Vermont Game Warden who was killed in the line of duty. We have given up to two $500.00 renewable scholarships in the past.  In 2006, we revised the scholarship to give at least one $1000.00 scholarship to a graduating high school senior.

*We hold spring and fall hunter safety courses for children and adults to teach them safe handling of firearms, wilderness safety, and survival.

*We help promote safe and responsible snowmobiling by holding an annual snowmobiling education course for anyone over 12 years of age.

*We sponsor and provide quarters for the local cub and boy scouts.

*We sponsor and pay for up to 8 children to attend the Vermont Summer Conservation Camps. ($175 for each camper)

*We make charitable cash donations to deserving organizations and school functions. (Little League, Brandon Area Rescue Squad, Brandon Fire District, Vermont Achievement Center, Otter Valley Union High School)

*We provide a facility for public and private gatherings at a reasonable cost.

*We provide indoor practice archery shoots during the winter months, to members, on Sunday evenings.
